Haiku

Summer

The bright sun shines on

my soaking, sweating face.

Thank God for water.

Summer

Brilliant green and red

Watermelon drips juices

Streaming down my face.

Fall

Leaves turn brown and orange,

Hunting, fishing, providing,

The air turns crispy.

Fall

School begins again.

Raking, raking, more raking,

The first frost kills all.

Winter

Fluffy snow falling,

Frozen temperatures freeze it.

Fluffy no longer.

Winter

Sledding in the cold,

Artic wind blows through my gear.

Hypothermia!

Spring

Frosty meets his death.

Baby animals are born.

Flowers are blooming.

Spring

The snow melts, hurray!

Flowers are pushing upward.

Life begins again.
