Service Description

Welcome to our Level One Reading and Spelling class, where the journey into the world of learning begins! Reading is not just a skill; it is the cornerstone of education, laying the foundation for all future learning endeavors. As a dedicated teacher, I am genuinely passionate about the transformative power of reading, and it brings me joy to share this enthusiasm with my students. In this class, we go beyond the basics of reading and spelling – we cultivate a love for it. I believe that when students enjoy the process of reading, their confidence soars, opening doors to a world of knowledge and imagination. My teaching philosophy revolves around making reading an engaging and enjoyable experience for every student. I will be using All About Reading and All About Spelling, a comprehensive reading and spelling program designed to make learning to read a breeze. My ultimate goal is to alleviate any struggles your student may face in these areas, creating a seamless and enjoyable learning journey. Throughout this course, students will also learn the art of writing neatly, forming letters correctly, and doing so with a sense of joy rather than tears. We recognize that the process of handwriting can be challenging for some, and our approach is tailored to make it an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone. Join us in level one reading, spelling, and handwriting, where we not only teach the fundamental skills, but also instill a genuine love for the written word. Together, we will embark on a journey that not only enhances literacy but also builds a strong academic foundation for a lifetime of learning. Let's make reading an adventure to be cherished! NOTE: Curriculum is included in the price. I will do a placement test for each student to make sure they are in the correct level for their skills. This class is not based on grade, it is based on skill. If you have a student who struggles with reading, I will put them at the level they are ready for.

Cancellation Policy

I agree to the Terms & Conditions: * The admin fee is $50. * Times may change as classes are added. We will notify you if any changes are made, and you will have the opportunity to drop the class free of charge if it does not work with your schedule. * For all classes before July 31, withdrawals are granted a full refund minus a $45 processing fee. From August 1st until the second week after classes start, students may withdraw from a class for a 50% refund. After the second week of classes, no refund is given. * TruLearn reserves the right to combine or cancel any class that does not have the minimum number of students to make a class. Parents will be notified well in advance if any cancellation is needed, and a full refund will be given, including the processing fee.
