4th - 8th Lego Robotics

Service Description

This is an exciting class where students will learn how to program robots to do different missions. They will also learn how to make attachments onto their robots, including gears, lifts, and many more. Students learn teamwork & speaking skills, give interviews, research data, come up with innovative ideas to solve problems, and practice FIRST core values at every competition. There will be a competition in Fairbanks, though the date is not yet determined. If the students proceed to the state tournament, there will be no additional cost. All competitions are included in initial price. If the students do not proceed to the state competition, students have the option to continue doing robotics during the second semester to work on coding, building attachments, and maximizing the number of points on the robotics board. At the end of the semester, TruLearn will host an open house where the students will compete with their robots for the highest scores. Note: This is a two-hour class twice a week. While this class does overlap with middle school bible, students can still take both. One hour twice a week is fine if the student is in bible class.

Cancellation Policy

I agree to the Terms & Conditions: * The admin fee is $50. * Times may change as classes are added. We will notify you if any changes are made, and you will have the opportunity to drop the class free of charge if it does not work with your schedule. * For all classes before July 31, withdrawals are granted a full refund minus a $45 processing fee. From August 1st until the second week after classes start, students may withdraw from a class for a 50% refund. After the second week of classes, no refund is given. * TruLearn reserves the right to combine or cancel any class that does not have the minimum number of students to make a class. Parents will be notified well in advance if any cancellation is needed, and a full refund will be given, including the processing fee.
