Middle School Art Class

Service Description

This will be a full and varied art class, where we will cover several styles of art, while also focusing on practicing a few basic techniques to proficiency. We will first spend time on the ins and outs of basic drawing; light & shading, perspective, and proportion & texture. Later on we will add the element of color as we explore painting. We will be covering brush care & handling, color theory, layering & blending, and different styles. We will also be exploring what art looks like around the globe, incorporating maps, music, and historical information as we experience varied craft forms. By the end of the year we should have a very full sketchbook, as well as several frameable and canvas paintings.

Cancellation Policy

I agree to the Terms & Conditions: • For all classes & courses, before August 31 withdrawals are granted a full refund. Students may withdraw from a course through the second week that class starts. After the second week of classes, no refund is given.
